Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Kelly Maurer and we are located in Western New York. If you are looking for a wonderful, happy healthy pug puppy, you have found the right place! I have 14 years experience working in a veterinary office. I have been a die hard Quarter Horse fan from the moment I first laid eyes on one. I have over 30 years riding experience. Buckskins have always been my favorite, explaining my instant love for fawn pugs! To me they are my little "mini buckskin k9 quarter horses"!  I  bred and showed CFA registered Persians and Exotics for 8 years. Explaining my love for brachechalic breeds. Today I am a NYS LPN . I have a deep love for all animals, but horses, cats and dogs are the top of the list!

I have always felt the only reason to breed any animal is to improve the given breed. Validation of a breeding program in my eyes, is proven in the show ring, then with progeny titles (ROM's, DM's ect), always keeping the animals health, comfort and mental wellbeing in mind. It is not an easy task, there is much heartache and very frustrating moments, but the thrill of a good win is worth it!

I am breeding pugs with the intent of improving the breed and only to produce dogs to keep in my breeding program and show, but of course with this comes puppies available for approved loving pet homes.  I breed for genetically sound animals, excellent temperaments with the AKC show standard in mind.  I am looking for homes that will provide forever homes to my puppies, that will become part of the family for the rest of their life. In the event life changes and you are no longer able to keep your puppy, we request you contact us first. I NEVER want a puppy of my breeding to end up in a shelter and add to the burden already placed on many shelters due to careless breeding. I am, and will always be here for any animal I have brought into this world. Our puppies are home raised, play in a large fenced yard, and handled daily. When inside the house, the dogs have there own "Doggie Den" that is maintained for their comfort. It has all the household living room items you would find in your living room, with a working fire place, fish tank, TV, air purifier, ect! They are only crated when I am away from the house, and not everyone all the time. I rotate their crate time when I am away. I have certain people that can be trusted together unattended! I spend most of my time at home in the doggie den with them, working on homework (as you can see from the piles of books) and updating this site! Vanna & Hannah are my little bed buddies and sleep with me every night in bed. They are all VERY spoiled...but we like it that way! We are currently feeding Royal Canin, this diet can be found at Petsmart, Petco and many Veterinary offices.  Our females are only bred once a year and retired at ages that they can be spayed and placed into pet homes, where they will enjoy the remainder of their years. So I do have adults to place from time to time.
